Game Dev Pa$$ion is a mobile clicker created as part of a week-long Game Jam.

This game is a little satire of the hypercasual industry, in which the player takes on the role of a studio CEO looking to get rich. To do so, he can make mobile games in large quantities, hire new employees, and above all tap the screen to generate money.

Inspired by the Idle/Clicker games that were very popular at the time, we worked hard on balancing the evolution of the game studio.

By offering a variety of passive power-ups to increase the studio's efficiency, and creating a combo system to encourage Clicker gameplay, we've ensured a dynamic and fun experience.

With the time we had left, we started working on a basic free-to-play system, with fake ads and pop-ups that could open unexpectedly.

To deepen the light-hearted and humorous side of the game, we went around the Game Jam asking each group to write an amusing pitch for their own project. These pitches then became the various games the player can develop in Game Dev Pa$$ion.
